| Short Biography |
A graduate with Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Nanyang University of Singapore. Worked as a branch manager for a licensed finance company for 9 years. An Exco member of Malacca Assembly from 1978 to 1986 holding posts of various portfolios such as public utilities, public works, health and human resource. A member of Malacca State Assembly from 1978 to 1995. A former member of the MCA Central Working Committee as well as the MCA Youth Central Working Committee; the Chairman of Hainan Association, Jasin. A member of the Board of Governors of SRJK (C) Yu Shien, Jasin. Also served as a director of Koperatif Serbaguna Malaysia Berhad (KSM) since 1969 as well as director of KOJADI since 1981. Previously held the position of the Vice-Chairman of KOJADI from 1988 to 1991. Holding the position as the Honorary Secretary of the board of KOJADI from 1991 till June 2004. |
