2010 KOJADI Honorary Treasurer - Datuk Lo Kong Boon the “ Tokoh Koperator 2010 ”.
In recognition of Datuk Lo Kong Boon lifelong involvement in co-operative development
since the late 1950s, his was conferred the prestigious award of “Tokoh Koperator 2010”
on 21 May 2010 at Majlis Malam JPN ANGKASA Wilayah Persekutuan 2010. It was indeed
a proud moment for all KOJADI members.
2008 KOJADI was named as one of the Top 100 Co-operatives announced by the
Ministry of Entrepreneur and Co-operative Development during the official formation
of Malaysia Co-operative Commission (SKM) and launching of the SKM's logo.
2007 The Society was named winner of the "Special Award for Service Activities" at the national
level 2007 Co-operative Awards organised by the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Co-operative
Development.
2007 The Society's commitment and efforts in uplifting quality in its management was once
recognised by winning two quality awards at the recent 2007 Co-operative Awards organised
by the Federal Territory Co-operative Development Department. The Society was named
winner of the "Special Award for Service Activities" while the Society's Honorary
Treasurer Datuk Lo Kong Boon received the "Co-operative Personality Award" for his
long-time contribution and involvement in the nation's co-operative movement.
2001 KOJADI won the top honour of the 2001 "National Level Co-operative Quality Award"
organised by the Land and Co-operative Development Ministry.
1999 KOJADI was awarded the 1st runner-up for "Quality Co-operative"
at national level competition organised by the Registrar-General of Co-operative Societies
Malaysia.
1997 KOJADI was awarded with "Quality Co-operative Society"
(First Runner-Up) in conjunction with the 75th Anniversary of the movement of
Co-operative Societies by Registrar-General of Co-operative Societies Malaysia.
1996 KOJADI was awarded with "Certificate of Appreciation"
for its contribution to the Co-operative Education Trust Fund.
1996 KOJADI was awarded with "Quality Co-operative Society"
at the national level by Registrar-General of Co-operative Societies Malaysia.
1996 KOJADI was awarded with "Quality Co-operative Society"
for its full compliance with the Co-operative Societies Act 1993.
1995 KOJADI was awarded with "Quality Co-operative Society"
for its good preparation of Accounts, Audit and Holding of Annual General Meetings.
KOJADI was the first among 3,800 co-operatives in Malaysia to have been awarded the
ISO 9001:1994 CERTIFICATION in 1998.
KOJADI was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFICATION in 2002. It is a renewal to the
ISO 9001:1994 CERTIFICATION awarded in 1998. This is in line with its mission to provide
quality service to its members.
